Agricultural and infrastructure assessment work for a client in California, USA.

The challenge

Thermal and RGB drone flights are only useful when they can be compared directly. The client needed both turned into one aligned map package per site, ready to use.

Approach

• Processed DJI thermal and RGB imagery in Pix4D into georeferenced orthomosaics
• Aligned the thermal layers with the RGB basemaps for toggle-based, side-by-side comparison
• Packaged map layers, documentation and organized outputs for each project

Results

• 5 mapping projects delivered
• 1,000–2,000 drone images per project
• Client-ready GIS packages with integrated thermal overlays for analysis and decision-making
